VM POS for Events

There are many things that need to fall into place to host an event. Among other things, suddenly in a tent or at a festival site, there must be access control and checkout solutions that work smoothly so that thousands of people can shop in a short time. All without having time to install and test the solutions.

Sharing Knowledge

For several years Venue Manager has held network meetings for several clubs. These were paused when COVID-19 made it impossible to meet physically, but the value of gathering to discuss challenges, ideas, and opportunities was revived in November.

Sustainable Festival

The people behind AiaSound Festival are in full swing planning the three-day music festival in August next year. They are planning a festival full of cool music experiences and togetherness between people and are working to ensure that the festival at Tiøren near Copenhagen is as sustainable as possible. Their goal is to collaborate with their suppliers to make it the most sustainable festival in the Nordic region.

Wehen Wiesbaden

The German football club Wehen Wiesbaden continues to invest in its digitalisation journey. The club has just updated its website with a mobile-friendly design and has also taken the next step by using the Venue App. Wehen Wiesbaden (SVWW) did this to give their fans better service and more dialogue and to be able to offer different kinds of added value.

New face in support

The support function in Venue Manager has been strengthened through the addition of Anders Amby. He will be the primary helper, sparring partner, and ‘go to guy’ for sports clubs, festivals, and attractions as he provides support to all types of clients. Anders will both take care of support and be responsible for individual sports projects.

New opportunities

We are building and expanding at Venue Manager. A lot has changed in 2021 and there are great things on the way - so we look forward to the new year. It almost feels like getting to start over, even though we are far from needing a fresh start.

Increased staffing

Germany is a large market and Venue Manager has gained more and more customers in recent years. There are now 12 customers, so Germany is a significant part of our total portfolio.

The app hits the mark

The international organiser of darts tournaments, PDC, has chosen Venue Manager's app. It will be used for events in Germany and Austria and will therefore be able to handle different VAT rates.

Football and Data

An exciting season has started in Danish football's Superliga and 1st division. Hopefully on the field, but also with new data and insight into what is going on in the stands. The Division Association has brought together the 24 clubs in the 3F Superliga and 1st Division to share data with the common goal of developing even better experiences for the spectators. This provides a starting point for also growing the spectator base.
